Simplissimo is very elegant and sleek, yet in its simplicity it gives comfort thanks to it ergonomic angels and materials used.
Its construction is made from soldered tubular steel and MDF, while the back panel in plywood. The base is in tubular steel, available in either matt chromed or finished in matt black lacquer, with protective gliders.
Comfort: suspension of seat and back via a sheet of grooved polypropylene, overlaid with an integral seat cushion in high resilience polyurethane Bultex.
Simplissimo is available in Kanda and Scuba fabric: polyurethane coating on a polyester backing.

Jean Nouvel is an award winning architect and designer. In 2008 he received the Pritzker Prize for his work on over 200 buildings around the world.
Even though, as with most of the people working within his field, some of his works have not been realized he is still one of the most ground breaking architects of our time. He graduated at the age of 25, from which point on he has been working with many different firms and people.
